The Full Vine is our
and our
and our
…our life in pictures and words.
We nest together, loving and living simply. Cooking, baking, gardening, mess-making. Reaching up with art and music, I create for the Creator, rooted and grounded in Him. “The deeper the roots, the higher the reach.”
Thank you for joining me in my world of messy kitchens, hard-won bandaids, dirty paint brushes, dirtier nails, and all things creatively God-ward.

“I am the vine. You are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
Wow! I can’t wait to see what you put in each week. Very nice format and interesting topics.
Thanks Momma! You’re very sweet. I love you.
Just listened to your song~~Beautiful !! My daughter Victoria was one of your students at West Bay. Thank-you for being a great art teacher. She wants to go to R.I.S.D. to do something with designing things. We will see! You are very talented Heidi. I am glad you are enjoying your young family and home. A wonderful witness to the Lord<3. God has richly blessed you!!! Thanks again, Vivian
Hi Vivian! It’s good to hear from you! Thanks so much for your kind words. I really enjoy being at home and having the chance to be with my hubby and son(s). And whenever I have the chance to play music or make art, I take it, especially with them! 🙂 I’m very excited for Victoria. That’s great news! She’ll succeed in any direction she chooses, and RISD sounds like it would be a great challenge and experience for her. Please tell her I said hello!
I had some of the same worries about marriage. Funny how God proves us wrong..ALL the time in my case 🙂
Yes indeed. 🙂 It seems so strange now to look back and realize how fearful and misguided I was. I had my own Mother as a perfect example of a satisfied, happy woman who cares deeply and sacrificially (and creatively) for her family. What was I so afraid of? This is the good life!
